Poverty is not a choice

Instead, life was designed this way. If you give, give freely and without conditions.

I read a headline a few weeks ago: “POVERTY IS A CHOICE.” The author suggested that people in poverty have chosen to live and remain in poverty—their individual, human choices keep them there, where they are more comfortable.

I call Extreme Bullshit™ on that.
